National pipeline surveying services delivered across Defence sites through collaboration with Indigenous and industry partners.

Project Description

The Indigenous Defence & Infrastructure Consortium (iDiC), with Indigenous partner Wumara Group and Veris Australia, were engaged to deliver pipeline surveying services for UGL’s Defence Fuel Network Asset Deferral Program.

Surveys were conducted across Defence sites nationally to assess pipeline integrity and support compliance with AS 2885 safety standards.

Project Outcome

Reliable delivery with meaningful Indigenous participation

The team completed subsurface and topographic surveys using GPS, electronic service locating and ground penetrating radar to map pipelines and underground services. Deliverables included 3D AutoCAD datasets and engineering reports.

Delivered on time and on budget, the project strengthened Indigenous participation in Defence infrastructure while providing reliable and efficient surveying services nationwide.
