Our History
A mission to build access to long-term opportunities for Indigenous business.
Established in 2016, iDiC’s founding directors identified an opportunity for Indigenous-owned and controlled businesses to participate in the delivery of long-term nation-building Defence projects.
These projects had the capacity to build sovereign capability and infrastructure while offering longer-term contracts that could create meaningful and significant participation for the Indigenous business sector. At the time, Indigenous-owned businesses were not engaged in these opportunities.
iDiC set out to change this. Since 2016, our focus has expanded beyond Defence and we now support clients and Indigenous businesses across infrastructure, government and the broader private sector.
