Kristy Scrymgeour

Kristy comes from 20 years in the world of professional cycling, first as a professional cyclist racing throughout Europe and the United States, and then as a team executive on the world circuit.

After many years working with men’s and women’s teams, Kristy became known as an advocate for the growth of women’s cycling and was an instigator in the movement that helped shape women’s cycling into what it is today.

With a strong entrepreneurial streak, Kristy founded a leading women’s cycling team and a cycling apparel brand that became known for its quality, fit and sustainable practices. The brand became a major sponsor of women’s cycling and was sold in 2020.

Kristy owns a café in Wollombi, on Darkinjung Country, which has become a community hub for live music and cycling events.

With 20 years of strategic partnership experience behind her, Kristy thrives on building relationships and creating opportunities.

Kristy holds a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science and has sat on the Ethics & Integrity Committee for AusCycling, the Women’s Commission and the Professional Cycling Council for the International Cycling Union. She has also served as a selector.

Kristy enjoys cycling, the ocean and spending time with family and friends. She has a nine-year-old daughter.
